Results example. Finite Element Analysis Explorer (FEA Explorer) is an application currently in development that is designed to find structural analysis solutions. It was developed to explorer the mathematical functions used to solve Finite Element Method (FEM) problems. While many professional applications such as Strand7 or Ansys are available they are extremely expensive as well as requiring at least one or more high end computers. This application is designed to suit students studying structural analysis so the design replicates the format used with structural textbooks. It also includes costs for the construction and maintenance within the model. It is available free on the Microsoft Store.
Solver output. Solver output With several solvers to choose from the student is able to see the differences between them as a customizable detailed output is shown during the process.
Results example. Materials Both the nodes and elements are customizable to suit the students needs. Many pre-made sections are available and it is just a matter of customizing these to suit. Over a hundred materials are available to choose from. With detailed information available.
First principles. First Principles First principles are the basic foundations of structural analysis. Students can explore these principles visually without requiring any mathematical knowledge of the principles. This gives the opportunity for students without a knowledge of these principles to experiment with them in an environment that is suited to them.
